ABOUT

Victoria Heric - Founder / Product Manager / IOS developer

I am storyteller.  I have a passion for delighting children and I’m on a mission to become a female founder with this as my focus. A seasoned digital producer and product manager, with more than a decade of experience, I embarked on the journey to create an iPad Storybook in 2016 using Swift for IOS. The result was Stevie the Snail Goes to the Garden. It tells the story of Stevie, a snail who lives under an apple tree but longs to pursue his dreams of making new friends, and a new life, in the beautiful garden he sees just beyond him.

A Los Angeleno and Theater Major, I started my career working in television production at Twentieth Century Fox before moving to work on digital executions at advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi. As an oncology & medical bedside volunteer at Childrens Hospital of Orange County, I'm dedicated to the care and wellbeing of children and bringing digital joy and excitement to all. I am Comptia A+ IT and Network + Certified, a member of the Producers Guild New Media Council and an Apple WWDC 2018 Scholar.  I’m co-organizer of A Flock of Swifts STEM coding meet up in Orange County and have been lucky to connect with several advisors who believe in my drive and my vision.  My speciality is taking big ideas and breaking them down into technical deliverables by working closely with engineers, creative teams and business executives. Midsummer Dream Digital is the place where all roads in my life connect and my creative vision is made manifest, and is only made possible by understanding who I am, what matters to me and trusting myself.

I hope it brings you joy, inspires you to learn, create yourself, and tell the stories only you can tell.
